Speed Clip-on Shotgun Rounds and Pistol Mags to Your Gun Belt

The Need:
The L. A. Riots gave birth to this piece and the North Hollywood B of A shoot out sold it off the racks. The patrol officer needs more firepower. But there has been a gap between what is worn on his/her Sam Brown and the box of shells zipped in the war bag in the trunk. Rounds can be carried on the weapon, but too many rounds add cumbersome weight.

The Answer:
The PAR offers accessible rounds in a comfortable clip-on thigh rig. When the officer secures a shotgun, he/she simply grabs the ammo rig and snaps the Speed Clip®, patent pending, onto the key hook on his/her pistol belt. Later, while in a protected position, the officer can pull out and secure the thigh strap. The Speed Clip® allows the rig to be hung in the squad car for easy accessibility.

Holds 24 rounds of 2 and 3 inch shotgun rounds and one pistol magazine (most full size and compact Beretta, Glock, Sig, Smith and Wesson, Ruger, Colt and Browning mags). Adjustable Velcro™ cinches down to protect against the rattle of loose rounds.

Each large pouch can also hold 3 Beretta (or similar size) magazines.

Compatible with shell trays from Shotgun Butt Rig (STSBR) sold separately.

Retention tab on back holds thigh strap when not worn.

Foam padding stiffens the panel so it does not flop around while you are attaching it, and adds comfort.

Two layers of 1000 Denier Cordura® are used throughout the rig (not just the stress points). We double and triple stitching with thick mountaineering harness thread. Box stitching secures all webbing and buckles. The buckles are big, durable, and easy to function when rounds are coming in.
