Boonie / Sun Hat (BATTLE TESTED)

U.S. Government Spec. hat with 3/4" nylon webbing, nylon chin cord and leather keeper. The design of this Boonie Hat is similar to the ones worn in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. The brim of the Boonie Hat protects the wearer come rain or shine!

This Boonie Hat is our favorite hat after years of field experience.

We would like to suggest attaching Velcro™ to hold the sides up when it's hot or you need to see and hear better. The same thing can be accomplished by using the draw-string, routing it onto the sides of the hat to hold them up. Just use caution to keep the draw-string from catching on branches or limbs.
