QUICK ATTACH RIG FOR OFFICER DOWN AND DISEASE PREVENTION GEAR
THE NEED: A quick clip-on rig that an officer can wear comfortably in a tactical situation or for disease prevention in case he or she comes in contact with an infected subject.
THE ANSWER: Similar to S.O.TECH's other Speed Clip thigh rigs, this rig stays in the squad car until needed. The officer clips it on in seconds and moves in. The purpose of the design includes pouches (not cheap elastic) to house first action items such as rubber gloves, CPR face-mask, and protective eye wear. The bottom half of the kit was designed around L.A. County Sheriff's gunshot wound kit contents. For officers with more advanced training, we put in slots and tool loops. Pouches will also accept 500 ml IV kit and bandage kits.
- Quick dispenser for rubber gloves on external face.
- 8 pockets, 15 elastic loops for tools and bandages.
