EXPLOSIVE ENTRY TOOLS LOADED ON A COMFORTABLE VEST Shock tube dispenser, firing device & tool pouches. 2 ply vest.
The Need:
Why do the bomb techs and breachers end up wearing left over SWAT vests, modifying rifle and shotgun pouches to suit their tasks? Those guys are handling explosives and it seems logical to make their gear the most well-ordered.
The Answer:
A heavy duty but comfortable vest with the bomb tech's and breacher's tools logically arranged. Custom vest configurations can be designed, but our standard model is a good base. It comes with a removable module pouches for daisy-chained shocktubes. This module can be replaced with EOD pouch modules. Breacher version has other pouches that fit strip charges, fixed blade utility knife, two utility pouches, hydration back unit, drag handle, radio, and two large side-opening pouches on the back. EOD vest has additional pouches for tape dispensing, 6P light, pocket tool, hand tools, crimpers, pliers, cap box, shims, etc. Vest is made of doubled-layer 1000 denier Cordura with padded collar, side adjustment straps, and chest cinching side-lock buckles.
