On Sept 11th 2001, it is now known that a large portion of first responders to the Pentagon disaster were Fire Fighters and Employees of The Pentagon. In the face of great danger, these bold rescuers earned more honor than one can imagine. When the odds were down, they answered the call of duty for us all.

On Sept 11th 2001, the reasons the Pentagon did not burn were building construction, a long time DOD fire drill policy and a large portion of the first responders into the Pentagon were Fire Fighters.

The Fire Fighters who responded to the Pentagon, were from Greenbelt, Morningside, Kentland, Branchville and Cottage City Virginia... FMMC Fire Department, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Fire Department, Reagan National aircraft rescue fire fighting team, District of Columbia Fire/EMS Department and Arlington (Virginia) County firefighters. Their fast, devisive actions in the face of great danger, earned these bold rescuers honors we will always be greatful for.

We have created this hallowed homage to these great and dutiful rescuers of the Pentagon on 9-11 who embody the soul of all Americans.

It is in the memory of all Pentagon personnel who answered the ultimate call - to ensure that this nerve center of all US commands kept ticking like an atomic clock, is in which No Surrender finds a hallowed homage to these great and dutiful rescuers; along with the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Law enforcement, Fire fighters and - yes civilians! - alike. which the spirit of No Surrender carries on in all of us in the U.S. of A!
