The Need:
A government issue type sling that easily converts into a top sling for patrol carry. Anyone who has been in the service has seen some creative attempts to rig a top carry sling on the M-16 (550 cord, sling rope, etc.)
The Answer:
An extended version of the issue sling that loops through the front sight post, over the neck and shoulder, and loops over the butt stock. The Patrol Sling uses four slider buckles - two to cinch down, securing the butt stock and the front sight post, and two to secure the loose ends.
Made of the same 1.25" web and buckles as the issue sling (so the First Sergeant won't notice and give you a lecture).
Can be used with numerous other long arms.
Black standard. Olive Drab, Tan and Arctic White also available - Please call for availability.
Features
American name brand plastic and metal fasteners (Duraflex, ITW Nexus, ACW, etc.).
