From the gang at Special Forces Gear!
It was christmas of 2005 my first in Iraq. The 172 had yet to be extended and we were still operating in mosul. We got up early that day and started a 6 hour patrol that consisted of taking gifts to Iraqi christians and giving them to kids. At the close of the patrol we set out Al Kindi the local range which was the nextr MSR over from Fob Courage, We continued to spend the rest of christmas day firing anything we could get our hands on to include 9 at4's 36 Gustoff rounds and more 5.56 and 7.62 than can be imagined. By the end of the day my hands were raw from the amount of firing we did. All in all it was a great christmas.
