Pen Pals

Postby Morningveil » Fri Feb 02, 2007 2:40 pm

Anybody looking for information or what not and wants a penpal can feel free to email me if you want.

I'm just a cat that sends a care package here and there. Me and the Misses give $ to adoptasniper.org, Naval Warfare Foundation, the Special Forces Foundation, Wounded Warriors (Mostly) Foundation and in the past I might have slipped an anonomous money order to the Isreali Embassy in New York/DC but I was doing that before 9-11.

I do these things because It's my way of fighting the war on Terror.
I would be in the Middle East fighting but I am a chicken and a little bit too fat. Other then that, I would make a fine soldier.

PLease keep up the good work, I hope to see you in the airport so I can shake your hands.
God SPeed.

Great job

That is a wonderful thing you are doing. I wish you could influence the kids in my town to be more like you. As a Police Officer on the civ. side I talk to kids about the military and supporting the troops. The problem is they seam to be so liberal in their thoughts, they dont understand it. It is hard to be deployed. Some more than others. I have been deployed in theater and other less threatening places. When you get a package, it makes you feel a little better.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

I'd love to find a Green Beret to write to... I want to see if I can get some more information as I'm planning to re-enter the service in the next year (need to work off the excess "relax fat" from being out of the military for 4 years). Once I'm in shape and ready (I gauge January of '09)... I'll be shooting for the Army's Special Forces.

I would be very surprised, if such a thing exists. I can tell you from experience, that it can be a real challenge to contact active-duty SF Operators, even when they are close personal friends, if you are not in those circles.

Look in the Support Our Troops section here(I have lost track of all the different groups listed,) but I know there are organizations, that can send letters to troops, in a more random fashion. And if your interested in helping support Navy SEALs, go to www.nswfoundation.org
