4 Ways To Give to Guitars For Vets

Postby Commando 9767 » Thu Sep 03, 2009 3:25 pm

1. Use www.goodsearch.com & www.goodshop.com because they support G4V by
donating a penny for each and every search you use on this site & up to 30% of
every shop purchase.

Support G4V and use GoodSearch & GoodShop, and be sure to spread the word to
friends!

2. Pick ‘n Save We Care Program (for those in Wisconsin)

For every dollar you spend at your local Pick ‘n Save store, a percentage will
be donated to G4V.

If you already have a Pick ‘n Save Advantage Plus Savers Card , go to your local
Pick N’ Save service desk and ask to change your We Care donor to Guitars For
Vets. Give them the following number: Guitars For Vets – # 299425

If you don’t have a Pick ‘n Save Advantage Plus Savers Card, complete an
application and indicate the above ID number in the appropriate spot. Then,
every time you use your Advantage Card to save money on your purchases, a
percentage will be donated to G4V.

3. When making a donation at your workplace via United Way, you may designate
G4V as a write-in agency for the United Way Campaign.

4. National City Bank(now a part of PNC) By opening a new checking or saving
account or linking your current account , G4V earns funds on an ongoing basis,
as the bank contributes an amount equal to a percentage of the total interest
paid annually on your account. Your local branch has full details. Please
reference CommUNITY #581

Thanks for your support of the G4V mission = Guitars For Vets provides 6 free
lessons and a new acoustic guitar to traumatized Military Veterans at VA medical
centers. The Houston chapter started this week and St. Louis is next.
Requests are coming in from all over the country for this program and we are
doing our best to expand when ready to fulfill the mission = volunteers in
place, resources/ funding, etc. to begin a new chapter. Any ideas, suggestions
are welcome.

Donated guitars are either presented to the Vets or sold in order to raise funds
for the program. Donated guitars that are unrepairable are turned into "Art
Guitars" by artists and sold at G4V events. Your gift will make a difference as
it supports the mission to heal our Veterans.

Monetary contributions and instrument donations are tax deductible. Authentic
G4V apparel may be purchased at our online store
