When is the US pullling its troops out of Iraq?

I've seen on the news that the US handed over the command of several city's now over to the Iraquee government.

Since I'm in the EU I don't get alot of info.

So my question:
Is the US pullling its troops out of Iraq soon?

this question has been asked by alot of people recently. it's all to what obama does. i think we are going to slowly pull out over the next few years but i hope he doesn't do it quick because he if does it will be all for nothing...

Well, IRAQ and US signed security agreement on 1JAN09 that all troops will be out of IRAQi cities by JUN30th and out of IRAQ by end of 2011. However, it also all depends on OBAMA and also, IRAQ can request that US stays longer in IRAQ if needed.

So, there you go.

We will probably start to keep very low profile starting this summer but we will conduct combined operations with IRAQI Army all the way until 2011. I think we will see some troops stay here for support past 2011.

Thats whats publicly available right now for release. No one really knows for sure what will happen. Gen O will make decision as time goes by and as security is sustained.

However, (NEWS IS SAYING) more troops will be pulling out IRAQ and possibly going into AFGHANISTAN.

well it seems like he is puting more troops out in that area (afghanistan and iraq) but they might be pulling troops out.
