Special Forces Medical Handbook
An 18D or Special Forces Medic is nothing short of having the best trauma specialist money can buy train right alongside you in combat. Experiencing a medical emergency in the field is rough at best for most of us. However, having an 18D is the next best thing to having a doctor along. The knowledge they possess is vast and intricate and the handbook they utilize is no less the storehouse for much of the problems they might encounter in the field.
This is the most comprehensive medical manual one can find any where - a manual which is almost as field worthy as an 18D himself! It may not make you a doctor, but it should give you the information and details on combat medicine other manuals often miss.
The Special Forces Medical Handbook is printed in the USA

![]() Rule of the jungle in my day. 1st thing, Stop, Look,Listen,Think,Evaluate,Take Action, but among ALL THINGS remain as calm & confident as you can treating a victim reassuring them they'll be good to go,,, It's extremely difficult in that arena of events, but panic creates more injury to all concerned. They need to know you're there to pull em thru regardless & KISS it too. Keep It Simple Stupid,,, These are excellent field med refs, know what to do ahead of time. |
