The Tritium Military Lensatic Compass is a good solid compass which is easy to read at night thanks to the Tritium, making easier to shoot azmiths.I always carried the Silva Ranger and Military Lensatic, but used the Silva Ranger (mostly because the needle floats free and easier making it faster to use while your on the move).
A useful(though not very sophisticated or tactical) tip is that by putting a piece of illumines tape on the bottom of the compass at night you can read it easier too.
